A SUGGESTION WAS MADE TO ORGANIZE PARLIAMENTARY SESSIONS DEDICATED TO THE NEGATIVE INFLUENCE OF TV PROGRAMS ON NOVEMBER

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. During the 17th session of Permanent
Committee of Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the
National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia under the chairmanship
of Artak Davtyan the members of the committee discussed the issue of
representing a conclusion to the National Assembly regarding projects
of “Law for Education of the Adults”, “Law for Theatre and Theatrical
Activities” and “Out-of-School Education Law”.

As the Information and Public Relations Department of the National
Assembly of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” the
co-author of the projects Heghine Bisharyan said that in accordance
with the agreement with the Ministry of Education and Sciences “Law
for Education of the Adults” and “Out-of-School Education Law” will
be revised and introduced again after the reciprocal works. As to the
“Law of Theatre and Theatrical Activities” minister of Culture of
the Republic of Armenia suggested revising the document.

In accordance with the suggestion made by the author the committee
made a decision to postpone the discussion regarding these three
projects involved in the agenda for one year.

The deputies also discussed other issues.

Artak Davtyan suggested organizing new parliamentary sessions to
discuss the issue of negative influence of the Television programs
on the citizens. In accordance with the suggestion of the chairman
of the committee after the sessions a new legislative initiative will
be developed and put into force in a basis of the standards developed
by National Committee of Television and Radio.

The next suggestion of the Chairman of the committee was about
organizing a session in Shushi.

Members of the committee accepted all the suggestions.
