ARMENIANS CAN GET MARRIED OUTSIDE OF REGISTRY OFFICE

YEREVAN.- Armenian citizens are permitted to get married without
visiting civil registry office.
On Wednesday the government decided it is not necessary to visit the
office to register marriage. From now on the Armenian citizens can
pay a tax amounting to AMD 50,000 (about $120) to invite the officer
to register marriage in a church, at home or elsewhere.
In case he or she are ill or are serving a prison sentence, they do
not have to pay the tax.
