YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS: Zamirzhon Otazhonov, a citizen of
Uzbekistan, Tajik in ethnicity appealed to the law enforcement bodies
of Armenia on October 24. He claiming his readiness to carry out a
terrorist act in Baku. He explained his readiness by the refusal of
an Azerbaijani company to pay his salary when he was working in Baku,
this arose hatred towards Azerbaijanis.
As a result of operative-investigative measures it was found out
Zamirzhon Otazhonov has turned to National Security Service by the
instruction of relevant Azerbaijani bodies and that his actions are
nothing but provocation , aimed at presenting Armenia as a country
sponsoring terrorism, National Security Service press service told
Armenpress . The Special Services of Azerbaijan tried to use Otazhonov
to mitigate the wave of international dissatisfaction related to
Ramil Safarov case.
Otazhonov was deported from Armenia.
