New Copper-Molybdenum Deposit To Be Exploited Near Armenia’s Meghri

NEW COPPER-MOLYBDENUM DEPOSIT TO BE EXPLOITED NEAR ARMENIA’S MEGHRI

YEREVAN. – The Active Lernagorts Ltd submitted to the Armenian Ministry
of Nature Protection the expert-opinion on the copper-molybdenum
deposit in Ashotahank. The deposit is in the territory of Meghri city,
Armenia’s Syunik Region, and not far from the village Vardanidzor.

According to the project, the deposit will be exploited openly,
while over 500,000 tons of ore is possible to dig daily.

To note, the Agarak copper-molybdenum deposit is already being
exploited in the territory of Meghri.
