EXPERT: AZERBAIJAN WILL NOT LET CREATION OF MACHINERY FOR INVESTIGATION OF INCIDENTS AT THE LINE OF CONTACT

The Azerbaijani authorities will not let creation of machinery for
investigation of incidents at the line of contact between Armenian
and Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Deputy Director of National Archive of
Armenia, historian Edgar Hovannisyan, said at today’s press-conference.
“Even if we manage to reach arrangements at the Paris meeting of
foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and any machinery are
created, the official Baku will undoubtedly fail them”, – he said. He
also added that the world community trusts in the Armenian party more,
but it is high time to transfer from indistinct statements to harsh
criticizing of the non-constructive policy conducted by official Baku.
He also added that at present Azerbaijan has problems with all its
neighbours in the region, not only Armenia and Nagornyy Karabakh. The
purchasing of a great number of weapon by Azerbaijan is directed not
only against Armenia and Karabakh but also Iran, Russia and Georgia.
