PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF ARMENIA-LAS COOPERATION DISCUSSED IN EGYPT

Armenian Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan had a meeting with the
Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Nabil al-Araby.
The perspectives of cooperation between Armenia and the League
of Arab Nations were discussed. Reference was made to the current
level of relations between Armenia and the Arab countries and the
opportunities of their development, as well as a number of regional
issues of reciprocal interest.
The Armenian Ambassador briefed the Secretary General on the latest
developments in the process of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh
issue.
Nabil al-Araby emphasized the great contribution of Armenians to the
public life of different Arab countries.
