AUSTRALIAN MP TO VISIT TSITSERNAKABERD

Walt Secord, member of the Legislative Council of the parliament of
the Australian state of New South Wales is in Armenia. An official
from the ARF Bureau stated that on December 28 the Australian MP
will visit Tsitsernakaberd to put a wreath at the memorial to the
victims of the Armenian Genocide, Secord will also visit the Armenian
Genocide Museum-Institute.

Walt Secord has been elected Member of Parliament in March 2011 and in
his first parliamentary speech spoke about the Armenian Genocide. He
was elected vice-chairman of the Armenian friendship group. Secord
arrived in Armenia December 25, December 26 he departed for Artsakh and
was hosted by the chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan.

On December 28 he will be hosted by vice speaker of the National
Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov.
