AZERI PRESIDENT PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ARMENIA, AZERI SOLDIERS’ DEATH

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is personally responsible for the
recent victims on the Armenian side – by and large, victims on both
the Armenian and Azerbaijani side, said Karen Bekaryan, Chairman of
the European Integration NGO.
As regards the Armenian soldiers’ death caused by Azeri snipers, he
said: “We are now reaping the results of Aliyev’s militant rhetoric
and aggression, his policy of preparing his own people for war. All
this is the result of his policy, no matter he seeks war or not.
Moreover, there was an agreement with the OSCE Minsk Group that both
the sides should withdraw their snipers. Aliyev, however, lacked the
political will to make that step,” Bekaryan said.
