NEW MANUALS ON ARMENIAN LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICS AS A WEAPON AGAINST TUTORING

New manuals on the Armenian language and mathematics will help fighting
tutoring in Armenia, Minister of Education and Science of Armenia
Armen Ashotyan said at a seminar on Bologna Process principles in
Yerevan, Monday.
For the first time this year the State Unified Exams tasks will be
included in the manuals on maths, Armenian language and literature.
Thus, 80 out of 5,000 tasks in the manuals will be included in the
tests of the unified exams in 2012.
Ashotyan said that the given innovation will help avoiding disputable
questions in the examination tests or tasks not included in the school
programs, he said. The manuals will be published on Dec 1 2011.
The seminar on the Bologna Process was held on Nov 4-6.
