Official Business Trip Expenses To Be Revised

Expenses on government officials’ business trips are being revised.

At Nov. 2 discussions of the draft budget of Armenia’s government
agencies and judicial system, Chairman of the Standing Committee on
State and Legal Affairs, Parliament of Armenia, David Harutyunyan
noted that applied to the government for revision of the business
trip budget.

“I have received a response, but I would like to know at what stage
the process is,” Harutyunyan said, addressing Deputy Minister of
Finance Pavel Safaryan.

Mr. Safaryan showed the government’s decision with revised business
trip expenses in conformity with UN standards.

Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP),
noted that Armenia’s delegation to the Council of Europe often find
themselves in extraordinary situations. “Every time will have to
apply for compensations when we return,” she said.

In response, Pavel Safaryan said that the standards were enforced
late in the 20th century.
