YEREVAN. – If PACE votes to grant “Partner for democracy” status
to Palestine, then a similar step can be carried out in respect of
Karabakh, Armenia’s Prosperous Party MP, member of the Armenian
delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am
correspondent.
“Voting will start in several minutes. If PACE adopts such decisions
regarding non-recognized states, aiming to promote democratic reforms,
then a similar approach can be adopted in respect of Nagorno-Karabakh
as well. In any way, it will call attention of the European community
to building of democratic institutions in Karabakh,” Zohrabyan added.
