The part of RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s speech at UN on the
Armenian-Turkish Protocols was positive, leader of NA ARF faction
Vahan Hovhannisyan told today a news conference. The parliamentarian,
nevertheless, thinks that Armenia must have withdrawn its signatures
from the protocols, as the entire process is in a frosted state now.
In his opinion, by recalling the Armenian-Turkish protocols to the
parliament, Turkey tries to keep Armenia in a state of “hostage”. “In
this short period of time that Turkey had withdrawn the protocols
from the parliament, Armenia must have made a right use and withdraw
its signature,” Vahan Hovhannisyan said.
