OWNER OF STONE POLISHING WORKSHOP KILLED IN YEREVAN

A man was reported killed in Yerevan’s Erebuni district earlier
on Wednesday.

Shaliko Yeghinyan, 73, was found dead in his car at about 11:15 am.

Injuries caused by a blunt instrument were discovered on his skull.

Yeghinyan, 73, was the owner of an iron polishing workshop.

Later in the day, Suren B, 57, gave himself up to the police, admitting
that he had hit Yeghinyan with an iron crow during a quarrel at
the workshop.

The crow was found after a site search.

A forensic examination has been assigned.

An inquest is underway.
