US official meets with Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers

US Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns met on Friday with Azerbaijani
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in New York.
The meetings took place in UN Headquarters.
The sides were focused on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Burns met with Armenian Foreign Minister as well. The US called on the
two sides to choose peaceful approach to the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict, and the ministers confirmed their commitment to the peaceful
process.
One of the questions discussed was the co-chairmen upcoming visit to
the region, the source informed APA correspondent.
Minister Mammadyarov has also met with several FMs, and other high
level officials, including Turkish PM to discuss the NK problem and
other major challenges.
Besides that he has been scheduled to address the GA early next week.
