PRISONER COMMITS SUICIDE IN ARMENIA

An inmate committed suicide on Wednesday morning by hanging himself
in Kosh penitentiary institution in Aragatsotn region.
In April 2008, Ara Hayrapteyan was sentenced to seven years in prison
under Articles 175, 34-176, 35-175 and 65.
Hayrapteyan left a note saying that the suicide was motivated by
personal reasons and had nothing to do with his conviction.
