ARMENIA REGISTERS 12.4% INDUSTRIAL GROWTH – CIS STATISTICAL COMMITTEE

YEREVAN.- Armenia registered 12.4% industrial growth in Jan.-July
2011- as compared with the same period last year, reads the report
issued by CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.

The leader among CIS states is Kyrgyzstan with 15.1% industrial
growth. The next is Belarus with 10.9% growth followed by Ukraine
with 8.7%. In Russia industrial growth made 5.3%, in Tajikistan – 5.2%
and in Kazakhstan – 4.8%. Decline in industrial output is registered
in Azerbaijan (2.3%).

The highest inflation rate was registered in Belarus (41%). In Armenia
inflation made 0.4%, while in Russia – 5%.
