PROCESS OF IMPROVEMENT OF ARMENIA’S THREE BORDER CHECK-POINTS DISCUSSED

Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan
received UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative in
Armenia Dafina Gercheva. Press service of the NSC reported that
Dafina Gercheva presented the process of works implemented within the
framework of program of improvement of three border check-points. She
said the project-calculation works are completed and soon international
tender of construction works will be declared.
Arthur Baghdasaryan pointed out the necessity of having border
check-points corresponding to the EU standards. During the meeting
they also discussed issues on Armenia-UNDP cooperation.
