ANOTHER “SUSPICIOUS” DEATH OF AN ARMENIAN SOLDIER REPORTED

Early this morning, the death of yet another Armenian soldier was
confirmed by the Armenian military.
Hayk Lazarian, a 19 year-old conscript from Armavir Marz in Armenia,
died while serving at a military outpost in the Askeran district
of Artsakh.
Manvel Babayan, mayor of the village of Amberd in Armavir where the
soldier hails from, told Hetq that word reached him early this morning
and that he went to convey the tragic news to Hayk’s parents.
“We still don’t know what exactly happened. Hayk was a good boy and
a hard worker from a poor family,” Mayor Babyan told Hetq.
We tried to get more information from the RA Ministry of Defense but
our calls to the press office have gone unanswered.
