YEREVAN. – Some of Armenian MPs’ engagement in business is clear
without the list issued by the oppositional Armenian National Congress
(ANC), member of the ruling coalition’s delegation, MP Vardan
Bostanjyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During today’s regular round of talks between the ruling coalition
and the opposition, ANC presented a list of 76 MPs who run businesses
which is banned by the law.

“All the accusations were reasonable, MPs have no right to run
business. However, there are many options not to run business
directly,” he said. Therefore, the MP considers this argument cannot
be considered sufficient to hold snap elections.

The next round of talks will take place in a week, instead of Friday
as it was planned. Negotiators explained the delay is necessary to
fully prepare conclusions on the arguments.
