PRIME MINISTER CONSIDERS BIOFUEL PRODUCTION IN NAGORNO KARABAKH AS IMPORTANT AND PERSPECTIVE

PanARMENIAN.Net – Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan visited
briquet department of Askeran’s Avetaranots village wood-processing
plant on August 1, where biofuel production is set, according to the
Governmental press service.

Sargsyan emphasized importance and efficiency of biofuel production
program for Nagorno Karabakh economy.

“Economic system of Nagorno Karabakh gains stability, since economic
system must ensure its sustainable development in different
situations. From this viewpoint, I consider this program to be
highly perspective, first of all in terms of national security,” said
the Prime Minister adding that the program will have multiplicative
effect, as it boosts economic development, use of local raw material,
creation of job opportunities, as well as efficient forest management
to be realized in future.

The program is designed to make an obvious economic influence, as
the energy sphere spending will fall by minimum 30% which means that
production capacity and efficiency may rise, bringing forth a serious
budget influence.
