IRANIAN OFFICIAL: 5 THOUSAND CHRISTIAN ARE SUPPOSED TO ATTEND SERVICE IN GHARAKILISA

“Armenian Gharakilisa Church located in Western Azarbaijan, Iran, is
getting prepared to host a service, which the local authorities plan
to perform successfully,” Iranian IRNA news agency informs referring
to Chaldran province staseperson Hamidreza Gholi Pur.
“It’s supposed that St Gharakilisa will host about 5 thousand
Christians on July 21 both from Iran and foreign states. Special
services, including ambulance service and connection service will be
available for the visitors,” Iranian official said.
Chairman of Atrpatakan Armenian Diocese V. Meloyan said the Islamic
Republic of Iran respects the rights of national minorities as they’re
intended to hold a well organized service.
