By Messenger Staff
Friday, July 8
Well known Armenian businessman and oligarch Mikheil Baghdasarov was
offered the chance to buy Georgian airline Airzena. Baghsdasarov
stated that such a move was unrealistic at this stage. He stated that
the issue could be considered in time. Baghdasarov heads a holding
‘Mika limited’ which works in different directions such as: a cement
factory, Armenian airlines Armavia, and Importer Company Mika
International.
The Airzena press secretary confirmed that negotiations are underway
but a final decision was still to be reached. Baghdasarov meanwhile
denied allegations that he wants to move his capital to Georgia. On
recent times there has been a tendency for Armenian companies to move
their capital to Georgia. In 2010, 103 Armenian companies were
registered in Georgia.
