YEREVAN INTERNATIONAL AND GYUMRI ROTARY CLUBS SUPPORT THE PEOPLE WHO SUFFERED FROM JAPANESE DISASTER

(Noyan Tapan – 20.06.2011) Yerevan International and Gyumri Rotary
clubs organized benevolent concert aimed at supporting people who
suffered from Japanese earthquake. The concert took place on June 18,
in the hall o Yerevan Camera Theatre by the performances of Stepan
Shaqaryan, Vahan Arcruni, “Ars Lunga” duet (Aram Talalyan, Julietta
Vardanyan) and “Speghani” choir headed by Marina Avtandilyan.
Jazz improvisations, songs written by R. Davoyan and Komitas and
writings of other composers were performed.
As a result of money collecting during the concert, the money was
transferred to the addressees.
