L’Arménie et l’UNESCO célèbreront le 1400e anniversaire d’Anania Chiragatsi

L’Arménie et l’UNESCO vont célébrer en 2012 le 1400e anniversaire du
mathématicien et scientifique arménien Anania Chiragatsi. A
l’observatoire astronomique de Biyurakan (Arménie) se tiendra du 12 au
13 juin 2012 un séminaire-conférence dédié à Anania Chiragatsi et aux
études et observations des astronomes d’Arménie. De nombreuses
interventions démontreront l’apport d’Anania Chiragatsi dans le
domaine des sciences en Arménie. Rappelons qu’Anania Chiragatsi
démontra bien avant Galilée que la terre était une planète tournant
autour du soleil.
