Cabinet approves finger print registration procedures

The state registration of fingerprints came under spotlight of the
government meeting on Thursday.

The cabinet members discussed a draft law stipulating for the
procedures, principles and purposes of registering fingerprints.

The measures proposed under the draft are aimed at establishing the
identity of individuals, and facilitating the procedures of preventing
and disclosing crimes.
