MINISTER OF CULTURE: DECISION OF GOVERNMENT ON TRANSPORTATION OF MINAS’ CANVASES TO BE IMPLEMENTED

The decision of the Armenian government on transportation of Minas’
canvases must be implemented, Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan said at
a briefing with reporters, referring to the complaints connected with
the decision. “May be it is quite good that the attention of the public
is on the process but on the other hand we have the decision of the
government, which is quite clear”, the minister said, reminding that
a private organization has already made investments for transporting
the canvases, no alternative has been offered till now.
According to the decision of the government, the two canvases of Minas
Avetisyan must be transported from Gyumri to the newly constructed
terminal of “Zvartnots” airport. After July 15 the canvases will be
transported to the mentioned place.
