ARMENIAN DELEGATION TAKES PART IN ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM

YEREVAN, June 16. / ARKA /. An Armenian delegation headed by Deputy
Prime Minister and Minister of Territorial Administration Armen
Gevorgyan, will take part Friday in the St. Petersburg International
Economic Forum, the press service of the ministry told ARKA.

The delegation consists of Deputy Economy Minister Ara Petrosyan and
a member of the Central Bank of Armenian Board Armenak Darbinyan. The
Armenian delegation will participate in the plenary session and in
thematic round tables.

The forum, held under the patronage of Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev, has brought together political figures, business
representatives, leading scientists, experts, community leaders from
about 50 countries.

According to the Armenian ministry, the main topics this year
are devoted to ensuring global economic growth, the prospects for
technology development, and building Russia’s creative capital. In
the context of global economic growth discussions will be held on
development prospects in the CIS, ensuring energy and food security
and challenges facing by large cities.
