Georgian, Armenian Vice Speakers discuss bilateral cooperation

YEREVAN. – Vice Speaker of Armenian Parliament Samvel Balasanyan met
with his Georgian counterpart Mikhail Machavariani in Ijevan town of
Armenia on Friday.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan and Georgian
Ambassador to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili, as well as MPs from two
states’ parliaments also attended the meeting.

During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues on
activities of the commission for interparliamentary cooperation,
stressed the necessity to increase its efficiency.

The officials also attached importance to strengthening and developing
cooperation between the two parliaments.
