HERITAGE MP DOESN’T BELIEVE ARMENIA CAN EVER CEDE LIBERATED TERRITORIES

Alaverdyan is negative about the policy on Nagorno Karabakh pursued
by all three Presidents of Armenia.
“As a result of their policy, the Armenian people had to counteract
both the authorities and the international community,” Mrs. Alaverdyan
told a press conference on June 1.
“I do not believe that someone in Armenia can ever cede the liberated
territories,” she said.
For his part, Hovhannes Margaryan of Orinats Yerkir said he fully
supports the policy of the current President, which spells the
resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict through peaceful means.
According to him, “mutual acceptable concessions are better than
reckless confrontation.”
