ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT APPROVES REPORT ON 2010 GOVERNMENT BUDGET PERFORMANCE

YEREVAN, May 27. /ARKA/. On Thursday, Armenian Parliament approved
the report on the 2010 government budget performance.
Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan said that the national economy was
slowly by stably recovering in 2010.
“Economic development was due to global trends and anti-crisis
programs,” he said.
The minister said that some faults found out by the control chamber
didn’t affect the budget performance.
The government budget revenue grew 11.7% or by AMD 79.4 billion to
AMD 755.8 billion in 2010, and expenses totaled AMD 856.8 billion
making up 97.4% of the planned indicator.
GDP grew 2.6% in 2010, compared with 2009, instead of the planned 1.2%
to AMD 3509.6 billion.
Year-on-year inflation was recorded at 8.2% in Jan-Dec 2010.
Armenia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $4794.3 million or AMD
1786.1 billion in 2010 after growing 18.9%, compared with the previous
