Bako Sahakyan at opening ceremony for newly-built sports hall

Bako Sahakyan partook at the solemn ceremony of opening the

(Noyan Tapan – 01.05.2011) On 1 May President of the Artsakh Republic
Bako Sahakyan visited the village of Herher in the Martouni region.

The President partook at the solemn ceremony of opening the
newly-built sports hall of the village school.

The Head of the State expressed gratitude to French philanthropists of
Armenian origin Hrach Siseryan and Elizabeth Keleshyan for financing
the construction of this sports object. For patriotic activity the
President awarded the philanthropists with `The Gratitude’ medal.

In his speech Bako Sahakyan underlined that the sports hall would be
of a pivotal significance for developing physical culture in Herher
and the neighboring villages.

According to the Central Information Department of the Office of the
Artsakh Republic President, second President of NKR Arkady Ghukasyan,
Primate of the Artsakh Diosese of the Armenian Apostolic Church
Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan and other officials partook at the
event.
