In the group tournament of the European Cup qualification matches
held in Malta, the Armenian female soccer team won the first place,
qualifying for the next round.
In the 64th minute of the third round, Christine Mangasaryan hit the
11 meter penalty kick, evening the score (1-1). Earlier, Armenia had
beaten Farekner 1 -0 and drew 0-0 with Georgia.
The Armenian team tops the tournament list with five points, the
Armenian sports website Armsport.am reported.
Malta and Georgia have four points after these competitions.
