KAREN KARAPETYAN FOR “INDIA” IN YEREVAN

On February 11, Armenian Ambassador to India Achal Kumar Malhotra met
with Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan. The Ambassador offered to name
“India” a street in Yerevan, stressing there are many Armenian streets
in India.
The sides discussed bilateral cooperation issues and attached
significance to implementation of joint programs in the fields of
tourism, investments and health, the press service of Yerevan City
Hall informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Indian Ambassador expressed readiness to assist the cooperation
in different spheres. Karapetyan attached importance to exchange
of international experience in developing infrastructures, noting
Yerevan Municipality is ready to back all initiatives on the capital’s
development.
