ARMENIAN UNIVERSITIES HOST 3,370 DIASPORA STUDENTS

In 2010-2011 academic year 3,370 students from the Diaspora studying
at universities in Armenia.
The majority of students arrived in Armenia from Georgia (1645)
and Russia (1073), followed by the residents of Iran (291), Syria
(82), Ukraine (65) and Turkmenistan (40 students), press service of
the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia informed Armenian
news-NEWS.am.
The greatest number of students from the Diaspora studies at the State
Pedagogical University (406 students), followed by the Yerevan State
University (280), Russian State University for Tourism and Service
(234), Khorenatsi University (94), and Yerevan State Base Medical
College (83).
