LENGTH: 119 words

Turkish and Argentine foreign ministers met in Istanbul on Friday.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his Argentine
counterpart Hector Marcos Timerman discussed bilateral relations, and
cooperation between the region where Turkey is situated and Latin
America.

During the meeting, Davutoglu expressed Turkey’s uneasiness about
Buenos Aires’ decision to postpone inauguration of monument of Mustafa
Kemal Ataturk, the Founder of Turkish Republic, due to the Armenian
lobby.

Tierman said his government was not supporting such initiatives, and
Ataturk was a great leader.
