The Mayor of Yerevan has resigned, Press and Public Relations
Department of the Yerevan City Hall reports.
The reason of the resignation was the incident, which the Mayor is
said to be involved in.According to media reports, Gagik Beglaryan
has beaten Aram Kandayan, employee of the Protocol Department at the
President~Rs Office.
President~Rs Spokesman later confirmed the information.
~SThe President has been repeatedly expressing his stance on such
incidents. Such behavior is unacceptable and impermissible,~T Armen
Arzumanyan said.
