ASPHALTING WORKS IN ARTASHAT

The repair and asphalting works of Isakov Street, Artashat, are being
brought to an end. For repair of road of 820 meter length and 13 meter
width 240 million AMD has been allocated from the means of the Armenian
Ministry of Transport and Communication and Artashat Municipality.
Head of the Apartment and Services Regulatory Department of Artashat
Municipality Alik Israelyan told Armenpress that the construction
works have started at the end of September. “Khachar” Road Construction
Company implements the construction.
Isakov Street had not been repaired from its creation day – more than
30 years. Mr. Israelyan said that the1/3rd of the town’s traffic is
implemented through that road, and it was impossible to continue the
traffic in case of adding of cars in the town.
Repair works of potholes are also being implemented in Artahshat.
Money of 14, 5 million AMD has been invested from the community budget
for implementation of those works.
