Holocaust Memorial in Yerevan Vandalized

Unknown individuals desecrated a memorial erected in 2006 dedicated to
the memory of Holocaust victims. A red swastika was spray-painted on
the memorial, along with the words (in Armenian) “Death to Jews,”
reports Armenia Today.

The monument is meant to symbolize the suffering of the Jewish
people. It is located in the center of Yerevan, near in Circle Park at
the intersection of Teryan and Moscovyan streets.

This is not the first time that this monument to the memory of
Holocaust victims has been desecrated.
