People’s Artist of Armenia Vladimir Msrian, 72, died today, on August
24, in a hospital in Yerevan at nearly 7:30 am. He suffered from
blood cancer.
Vladimir Msrian was born on March 12 1938 in Ordjonikidze, modern
Bladikavkaz; a Yerevan Art and Theatre Institute graduate (1958-1962,
Gulakian’s course), he was a People’s Artist of Armenia (Soviet
Armenia); in 1963-64 he worked at the Theatre for Young Audiences; in
1964-66 he performed in the Yerevan Russian Theatre aft Stanislavsky
and since 1966 – in the Yerevan Drama Theatre.
