Armenian PM participates in CIS session in St Petersburg

Armenian governmental delegation with Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian
on the head participated Friday in the CIS ministerial session, which
took place in St Petersburg, a spokesperson for the Armenian
government said.

The session’s agenda included nearly 20 documents to be ratified and
items of economical and humanitarian cooperation between the CIS
countries. Among the highlights were items of security, energy, and
the program aiming at solving the issues of the veteran organisations
of the CIS countries.

Ministers also discussed program of the events to be timed to the 20th
anniversary of the organisation.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that the open and honest
dialogue between the parties make it possible to develop and improve
the organisation. He pointed that it is necessary to move forward in
accordance with the long-term programs, designed up to 2020.

The Armenian delegation to Russia included chief of Armenia’s
Government Staff David Sarkisian, Minister of Finance Tigran Davtian,
Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian, Deputy Finance Minister
Mushegh Toumasian, and other officials.
