Inarkiev in the 8th round of Men’s Grand Prix in Astrakhan, Russia.
Nevertheless, Akopian bottoms the standings with three points.
Russia’s Dmitry Yakovenko has taken the lead with 4.5 points.
In the 9th round, Akopian will rival Ukraine’s Ruslan Ponomarev,
