MUCH-AWAITED VICTORY FOR HAKOBYAN

Armenian grand master Vladimir Hakobyan at last celebrated his first
victory in the FIDE Grand-Prix Chess Championship in Astrakhan,
Russia, reports local Armenian news website Armsport.am.

Playing with white figures in the 8th tour Hakobyan defeated the
Russian grand master Ernesto Inarkiev.

Vladimir Hakobyan is still the last one in the win list with his
3 points.
