Ismet Abbasov The visit of the Azerbaijani minister to Armenia will
have no influence on the Karabakh conflict settlement.

Political scientist Rasim Musabeyov considers that the visit of
Agricultural Minister Ismet Abbasov to Armenia for participation in the
UN session will have no influence on the Karabakh conflict settlement.

"The visit was not made to hold talks or restore relations
with Armenia. This is not the first visit to Yerevan in terms of
CIS-several representatives of Azerbaijan have visited Armenia ever
since. Armenians have also paid repeated visits to Azerbaijan.

In fact, the visit of Azerbaijan’s agricultural minister to Armenia
will not influence the relations between the two countries. Naturally,
this visit will not be perceived unambiguously in Azerbaijan. Some
will voice resentment while the government will continue working",
the political scientist said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
