Women’s FIDE Grand Prix competition in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria,
is drawing to an end.

Armenian chess player Lilit Lazarian showed a good performance in
the 10th penultimate tour of this competition, while Elina Danielyan,
another Armenian participant, had her next in turn defeat. However,
theoretically she still has a chance to improve her record and avoid
being the last one on the win list – the 12th.

Lilit Lazarian defeated Turkish player Kemre Betul Yildiz with black
figures, while Elina Danielyan lost to Nana Dzagnidze (Georgia),
reports local Armenian sports news web site Armsport.am.

With 1.5 points Danielyan is the 12th in the win list and can come
forward if she wins Bayra Kovanova (Russia).

Lilit Lazarian is between the 7-8th places with her 5 points. At
the last tour she is set to compete with Tatiana Kosintseva who is
running the first in this competition with 8 points. Lazarian will
play with white figures with Kosintseva.
