The 30-year-old programmer Aram Ghaukasyan will soon become the
father of a second child. But before the happy day, Aram has to lie
in hospital because of his ill health.

It is already ten years Aram suffers from a rare disease – cancer of
adrenal cortex. Aram is under constant surveillance: doctors struggle
hard to prolong his life.

Aram underwent operations in 2000, 2001 and 2006. Doctors removed
his left kidney. The illness grew acute since 2009 and unfortunately,
it is developing at a terrific speed.

On doctors’ advice, Aram received two courses of chemotherapy but
treatment yielded no results. Armenian doctors cannot cure this
illness.

Recently, Aram received an invitation from the University Hospital
Basel of Switzerland. Swiss professor Richard Herrmann promised to
help Aram with their latest techniques. (Prof. Richard Herrmann,
Chefarzt der Klinik fur Medizinische Onkologie Universitatsspital,
CH-4031 Basel, Tel. +41-61-2655075, FAX +41-61-2655316)

The treatment costs 18000 CHF ($ 17000 USD). Unfortunately, Aram’s
family cannot afford the treatment at present.

Aram is a graduate of Yerevan State Engineering University and works
as a programmer. Today Aram is in need.

Below is Aram’s address: He lives in apt. 36, house 9, Hrachya Kocahr,
