ARMENIAN GYMNAST BECOMES CHAMPION OF EUROPE

ArmInfo. Sportsmen of the Armenian national team have gained success
at the European Championship in Artistic Gymnastics for Senior and
Junior Men and Women in Birmingham. Artur Davtyan has gained 15.462
points in vaulting and become a junior champion of Europe.

Armsport reports that Armenian sportsmen successfully performed on
the still rings. Artur Davtyan and Vahan Vardanyan have reached the
finals. Davtyan gained 13.825 points and held the 7th position, and
Vardanyan gained 13.750 points and held the 8th position. Armenia
has also received the right to present a participant in the Junior
Olympiad 2010 in Singapore in August.
