ARMENIA’S MEDIAN NOMINAL WAGE IN Q1, 2010 GROWS BY 5.6%

YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s median nominal wage in Q1, 2010
grew by 5.6% year-on-year to 101,274 Drams, the country’s National
Statistical Service said today.

According to its latest figures, the median wage in public sector grew
by 4.4% to 83, 810 Drams, but dropped by 1.3% in March if compared
to February.

In private sector it grew by 6.9% to 126, 995 Drams, growing by 0.3%
in March against February. In March the nominal median wage fell by
0.5% from February. ($1 – 394.24 Drams).
