ARMENIAN NA SPEAKER ATTENDS OPENING CEREMONY OF THE EXHIBITION ON THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan attended the
opening ceremony of the exhibition dedicated to the 95th anniversary
of the Armenian Genocide in Artists’ Union of Armenia. The President
of the Union Karen Aghamyan said, 250 paintings have been chosen from
600 presented. Some of them will become part of the Armenian National
Gallery fund.

Accompanied by Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan and the President of
the Artists’ Union Karen Aghamyan, Armenian Parliament Speaker had
a tour around the halls to see the works of painters from Armenia
and Diaspora on the Armenian Genocide of 1915 carried out in the
Ottoman Empire.

Artists, public and political figures were present at the opening
ceremony, NA public relations department reported.
