YEREVAN, APRIL 19, NOYAN TAPAN. The Speaker of RA National Assembly
Hovik Abrahamian sent a message of congratulation to the Speaker of
the Syrian parliament Mahmud al-Abrash.
The text of the message was submitted to NT by the press service of
the RA National Assembly. It reads:
"On behalf of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I cordially
congratulate you, all our colleagues and the people of Syria on the
occasion of Independence Day. I am convinced that the current friendly
relations between Armenia and Syria and the close interparliamentary
ties will develop and expand in the name of prosperity of our peoples".
