ARMENIANS’ ROLE IN THE ECONOMY OF THE ARAB WORLD

On March 29-30, in the Center of Armenological studies of Cairo
University took place an international conference under heading
"Armenians’ role in the economy of the Arab world".

According to the RA MFA press service, RA Ambassador to Egypt Aren
Melikyan, Head of Philological Faculty of Cairo University Zen al
Abis, Director of the Armenological Center Zeynab abu Sinnan, as
well as about twenty scientists from Armenia, Syria, Lebanon and USA
participated in the conference.

The scientists in their speeches highly qualified the exceptional
role of Armenians in development of different branches of the Middle
East trade and economy.
